New Home Expo 2013 Covered in Fortune Weekly and Realty Weekly

MARKHAM – Our 2013 New Home Expo on February 28th made a big splash in GTA real estate media – our successful dinner has been featured in two more of our favourite Chinese language publications! Big thanks to Fortune Weekly and Realty Weekly for the awesome event coverage.

Fortune Weekly

Fortune Weekly is one of the GTA’s leading Chinese-language resources for news and info on real estate, investing and finances. In this colour feature, they called the New Home Expo a “big, enjoyable event” with over 300 guests and a good atmosphere for investors.

Some of the highlights of the article include:

  • A quote from Living Group Chairman Stephen Wong: “In order to reduce the time spent for a majority of buyers and investors to research new properties on the market one by one, Living Realty Inc. is organizing this event which will allow people to have first-hand access to new property presentations before making an investment decision.”
  • A number of key takeaways from International Home Marketing Group’s presentation on the real estate and investment market – including statistics that show continuing investor interest in new projects, which has allowed the market to stay hot.

Realty Weekly

Realty Weekly is another one of the most popular Chinese-language real estate newspapers in the GTA, and they published a gigantic feature on the New Home Expo – nearly a full page of coverage! The article kicks off by recalling that the New Home Expo “welcomed the mood of spring,” with a full house.

Among the highlights from this feature:

  • Key notes from Elliot Taube’s presentation on behalf of International Home Marketing Group.
  • Key details on each of the projects presented, and all of the developers – plus a recap of Living Group Chairman Stephen Wong’s speech introducing the various residential developments on display.
  • Developments discussed in the article include Urbancorp’s King West project Kingsclub, Menkes Developments’ 365 Church and Livante Developments’ planned group of high-end detached houses near Leslie and Don Mills.
