Living Realty joins Kumon, BMO, CIBC, Scotiabank and other business leaders in organizing landmark event

MARKHAM – Local businesses and families all got together for a fun-filled afternoon on Saturday with games, booths and inflatable rides – all just outside Living Realty’s North Markham real estate branch northwest of the intersection of Woodbine Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive.

Living Realty was proud to be a key organizer of the area’s first Fun Fair event, sponsoring a big green bouncy castle that was a huge hit with the many children in attendance. The parents were treated to free Living Realty tote bags, real estate information, and a shot at a special raffle prize donated by Living Realty agents.

“There are lots of people,” said Peter, whose booth was getting plenty of visitors. “People with kids are very excited about the contest.”

Just a few meters away, in front of the Living Realty North Markham branch, sales representatives Michelle Leung and Cheryl Kwan were joined by a balloon artist and a face painter, making their booth a popular stop for families attending the fair. With listings featured in the office’s front window, some visitors even popped into the office to inquire about homes!

Few participants were more excited about the fair’s success than Living Realty’s North Markham branch manager Chris Tam, who dove right in and helped out with running booths throughout the event.

“What we’re trying to do, along with the other businesses, is focus on local outreach and really getting involved with the families living here,” Chris said. “It’s about developing a strong community, and Living Realty is proud to build our own presence in the community by participating in events like this one.”

While the staff at Kumon Learning Centre took the lead in organizing the event, many other local businesses were proud to contribute and participate, including:

All in all, it was a great afternoon and a chance for Living Realty representatives to meet lots of residents from the neighbourhood, while enjoying some quality time with their own families as well. Following the resounding success they enjoyed on Saturday, the event’s organizers are already discussing the possibility of having another event this year.
