In fact, Living Realty’s team of agents includes many Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking real estate professionals – a lot of whom have their own roots in China and Hong Kong. Needless to say, Chinese New Year is a cause for celebration at our brokerage!
As the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dragon comes to a close, we are preparing to enter the Year of the Snake on February 10. Often, the Year of the Snake is reputed for being filled with contemplation, reflection and change. It’s also a year that often tends to bring significant dealings.
Characteristics of the Snake
Those born in the year of the Snake (1905, 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, or 2013) are said to adopt the characteristics of this unique and complex creature. They tend to be intellectual, ambitious, and wise. Socially, Snakes are very loyal and committed to their close friends and family. However, they are very cautious in business and tend to be sparse in their communication with colleagues.
Those born in 2013 (or 1953) are born in the year of the Water Snake. Water Snakes are success-minded individuals who are highly driven to achieve their personal goals and desires, in business and other aspects of life.
