I’m excited to share that we at Living Realty are launching our 8th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, aiming to collect non-perishable food items and raise funds for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Our first food drive back in 2017 saw donations of about 1,700 lbs of food and a $2,000 cheque, and since then this drive has become a cherished tradition at Living Realty. In 2020, we expanded to include an online donation option in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, we’ve collected over 5,000 lbs of food and raised more than $20,000 in donations for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Building on the success of our hybrid approach in previous years, we are once again offering both in-person and online donation options. We’ve set up donation boxes at our branch offices in Markham, North Markham, Midtown Toronto, downtown Toronto, and central Mississauga. Our team is ready to assist anyone who wishes to contribute non-perishable food items.
Kelvin Wong, our Broker of Record, shared our commitment to community support, saying, “Living Realty is proud to continue our tradition of supporting the Daily Bread Food Bank with our annual drive. Community is at the heart of what we do, and we understand the importance of lending a hand to those around us, especially during these times of rising costs and increased reliance on food banks. Together, we can make a difference.”
He added, “The incredible generosity of our staff, agents, and visitors during past Thanksgiving drives has been truly inspiring, resulting in over $20,000 in cash gifts and thousands of pounds of food donated. This year, we invite everyone to continue this spirit of giving and support our community members who are in need.”

Branches are open until 9 pm on weekdays and generally until 5 pm on weekends.
