MARKHAM – Last week we were proud to host the innovative and engaging 2013 New Home Expo at the Diamond Banquet Hall. Joining us at the event were some notable Toronto media – namely, the Sing Tao Daily and the Chinese Real Estate Weekly.
Both newspapers provided excellent coverage of the event, along with eye-catching photos from this well-attended event for home buyers and investors.
SingTao Daily gave the event rave reviews, noting the “very good response” from home buyers in the community – with more than 30 tables filled at the Diamond Banquet Hall. The article also discusses the developers’ booths providing information, brochures and pricelists for new detached homes, townhouses, and condos throughout the GTA.
The article also notes that CIBC representatives were on site to provide advice and answer questions on mortgage and financing, noting that the area with the booths at the back of the venue was often quite busy as many buyers and investors lined up to get information and materials.
The article also contains a nice photo and overview of Living Group of Companies Chairman Stephen Wong’s speech, which introduced many of the exciting new home projects on display.
Chinese Real Estate Weekly (CREW)
The Chinese Real Estate Weekly is the GTA Chinese community’s biggest news publication for the real estate sector, and Editor in Chief Peter Lin was on site at the New Home Expo to get some great photos for the March 8 edition.
The CREW article starts by pointing out Living Realty is a strong company and – thanks to long-lasting connections with key players in the housing industry – one of the best places to get early information on new projects.
Moving on to details of the evening, the feature describes the crowd of 400 people – many of whom were first-time buyers or investors – who participated in the event, and the highly exciting atmosphere that followed.
CREW gives details on the contents of International Home Marketing Group’s excellent presentation, which focused on the strength and growth of Toronto’s housing market. It also gives some coverage to the evening’s other presenters including CIBC’s Tania Woo, who spoke on mortgage and financing options available to home buyers.
